City-wide clean-up for Britt residents only is scheduled for 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, May 14, 2016, at a central drop-off point, 1st Avenue S.W., next to the City Park.
Items that may be dropped off include: mattresses, box springs, dressers, tables, empty paint cans, small rolls of carpet, humidifiers, chairs, couches, desks, clothing, toys, bookcases, two or three boards, two or three windows, two or three small doors.
Items that may NOT be dropped off include: piles of lumber, remodeling debris, shingles, sheetrock, batteries, tires, riding lawn mowers, hazardous waste, regular garbage, yard waste, appliances and anything 6’ or longer.

All e-waste must have a pre-purchased tag when brought to the drop-off site. Purchase tags at the city clerk’s office for e-waste (televisions, computers, printers, etc.).
